Erin was blessed with an idyllic childhood in the Napa countryside, where she spent her years riding bikes, climbing trees, swimming, singing, and playing hide and seek with her siblings and cousins. She played soccer, volleyball, and softball, and was known as a tenacious athlete.

Erin lived an incredibly full and wonderful life and pursued her goals and passions fearlessly.

She faced kidney disease from the age of 13 and was a three time transplant survivor who went on to become a wife, mother, teacher, wellness coach, and author. She lived with pure joy, true grit, and immeasurable courage. Her message to others was to "live a life you love" and "Choose Joy!"
